GCM & GMAC block cypher modes for AES

I was wondering if there is a plan or interest in supporting GCM or GMAC block cypher modes for AES in SNMPv3 USM privacy?

No plans yet, but what would be the benefit?
Is there an IETF RFC (draft) for it available?
How about interoperability?

Hello Frank,
after further checks, I think we are OK with the current capabilities and do not need this.
On one hand, I would agree that interoperability would always be a challenge when non standard aspects are implemented but on the other hand, SNMP4J supports a few non standard features already.
